THE PROJECT
I was the lead photo art director of 28 unique campaigns for Rivet, the Private Label Furniture brand at Amazon that combines mid-century and industrial modern design to provide customers with elevated and affordable furniture and decor.
A LITTLE BACKGROUND
My unique approach for each of these campaigns was to do extensive competitive and trend research prior to developing creative. I began diving into trends within the interior space (color palette, furniture trends, set design, competitor research). I was responsible for concepting photo art direction; coming up with the set design, prop selection, overseeing renders to ensure sets were built to proper scale and aligning to the overarching creative direction all while fostering a relationship with business partners.
One of my goals while art directing for Rivet was to push seasonal relevancy through styling, set design and color palette. I introduced more foliage, food, moodier colors and more heavily propped sets to truly encapsulate the seasonal launch date for each campaign.
