THE PROJECT

Prime Day is an an epic celebration leaning into bold color, celebratory propping cues like confetti and disco balls as well as vibrant photography.

As the lead art director on the project, I was responsible for concepting six unique headers for Amazon Devices based on the Prime Day style guide that would be seen across the Amazon.com homepage by millions of customers. This project involved directing a team of 3D render artists on the build of these assets including but not limited to — overall composition, confetti application, device placement, set elements, lighting and propping. In addition, I oversaw a production designer on the execution of said assets with messaging applied to ensure headers were accessible and raising the creative bar for the event.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creative direction for homepage header assets leveraging event style guide.

  • Oversaw 3D artists and production design on workstream.

  • Collaborated with global teams and cross-functional teams on header development.
